Storing items in Black Desert is a crucial aspect of the game, especially when it comes to crafting and managing your workers' routines. The game offers various storage options, including town storages, personal warehouses, and guild warehouses. Each town's storage is separate, so items stored in one town cannot be retrieved from another. To access town storage, players need to find the Storage Keeper NPC, usually identified by a chest icon on the map. Interacting with the NPC and selecting the “Storage” option allows players to deposit and withdraw items.

Additionally, players can increase their storage space by purchasing houses with contribution points and using them for storage. Upgrading these houses can provide even more storage slots. The “Transport” function in the game allows players to move items between town storages, which is particularly useful when items need to be transferred between territories.

Personal warehouses can be accessed by interacting with a Warehouse Manager or by opening a rented Storage Box in a residence. Similarly, guild warehouses are accessed through the guild hall. Finding the Storage Keepers

How to put items/silver in the Storage

To put items and silver in storage in Black Desert, you will need to find an NPC (non-playable character) known as a Storage Keeper. These NPCs will appear as a "chest" icon on your map. To see the icon, you must first discover the NPC by talking to them. You can also view your storage at any time by opening your world map and clicking on the town/city icon.

If you can't find the NPC, you can use the magnifying glass in the top right, next to your mini-map. From there, you can search for the name of a particular NPC, click the "Storage" button to find the nearest one, or simply type "Storage" in the search box to find a storage keeper in any city.

Once you have found the NPC, go up to them and press "R" to talk to them, then click "Storage". To put items in your warehouse, simply right-click the item and if you have multiple items, enter how many you would like to put in storage.

To put silver in storage, click the silver icon in your inventory, enter how much silver you would like to deposit, and then click "Confirm".

Please note that storage does not share across towns or cities (unless you complete the Magnus Questline). This means that you will need to return to the same location where you stored your items or silver to withdraw them. However, storage is shared across all your characters.

Additionally, items that are bound to a character cannot be moved to town storage.

Increasing storage space

To increase your storage space in Black Desert, you have a few options. Firstly, you can buy a Storage property by clicking on the town or city icon and then the blue house icon. This will cost you contribution points and will give you extra storage spaces in that specific town or city. The number of extra spaces varies depending on the property you choose.

Another way to increase storage space is by completing the Magnus Questline, which unlocks shared storage across different locations. This allows you to move items from any warehouse location into your inventory.

Additionally, you can rent a storage container from a storage keeper for 10 CP. This container can be placed in your residence, allowing you to access the nearest town warehouse from your house.

You can also transport items between warehouses in different locations. This costs a small amount of silver and takes time, but it's a useful way to move items while you're AFK or offline. Keep in mind that trade goods cannot be transported this way.

Lastly, if you have access to the Central Market Warehouse, you can use it to store items directly from your storage, inventory, or pearl inventory.

Transporting items

To transport items, first store them in your warehouse. Then, open your map and select the "Transport" button at the bottom of the warehouse window. You can also open the transport window directly from the storage keeper NPC. Press the “Send” tab and select a destination and transportation method. You can transport up to 20 items at once, with a maximum weight limit of 1500LT. You can also use up to 5 wagons for transportation, but if you use all 5, you will need to wait for a new wagon to become available before transporting more items.

Once you have selected your items, you will be shown the transport fee. If you are happy to proceed, click "Send" and your items will be transported by freight wagons or trade ships. This is a real-time procedure, so it will take time to complete.

To check the status of your transport, go back to the transport window and view the "Status" tab. Once your items have arrived at their destination, you can collect them by opening the warehouse and clicking "Get All". This can also be done remotely from the World Map screen.

Storage and the Central Market

Storage is a key part of Black Desert, with players able to purchase and rent storage space to keep their items. Storage Keepers are NPCs that appear as a "chest" icon on the map. The Central Market can be accessed through the Marketplace Director NPCs or Transaction Maids/Butlers in the major cities/towns of each territory. The Central Market window can be opened by pressing the "Central Market" button when talking to the Marketplace Director NPC or by pressing the "Open Central Market" button when using a Transaction Maid/Butler.

The Central Market warehouse is shared by all characters of a family across all territories. To sell items on the Central Market, players must first place the items in their warehouse. They can then register the items for sale in the Sell window by selecting the price and number of items they want to sell. The Central Market takes a 30% commission on each sale, and each territory takes an additional 5%, for a total tax of 35%. This means players will collect 65% of the selling price. However, if players have a Value Pack, they can collect an additional 30%, for a total of 84.5% of the selling price.

To purchase items from the Central Market, players must have sufficient silver in their warehouse. They can then select the item they want to buy, choose the price, and click "Buy". If the item is in stock, it will be received immediately. If the item is not in stock, a pre-order will be placed, and the silver will be taken at this point. When the item is sold on the Central Market, the player who placed the highest pre-order will receive the item first. If multiple players placed pre-orders at the same price, the item is sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
